The Lexington Social House was bumpin’ Tuesday evening as Qualcomm was hosting its preliminary gaming event for the world record challenge on June 5.
The night started out with displays of Samsung Galaxy 8.9 Tab with Qualcomm’s processor, SnapDragon. It was in full-effect last night as over 50 contestants were vying for position to compete in the World Record attempt at E3, a chance to play for 26 hours STRAIGHT! I guess I would be super-competitive too if there was a $50,000 grand-prize at stake.
The Lexington Social House welcomed gamers from all over California to compete. Many, brought their loved ones to cheer them on. Others brought their gaming-bravado.
Overall, the night was a success and the gamers couldn’t have been happier, receiving gift-bags including a SnapDragon shirt, device holder, and even a jacket!
I know these aren’t your typical athletes but these guys could certainly compete.
